Holiday Party Over and New Year News

The Club Penguin Holiday party finally came to an abrupt end today. There’s a post in the Community section of the web site by Billy Bob and he talks about the party ending and a whole bunch of new things that are coming in 2010. One of them will be the long-awaited Mission 11 which will continue the story of Herbert the polar bear.

I guess 2009 will be known as the Year Without a Mission because mission 10 came out in December 2008. Today is the one-year anniversary of it! Now it will take CP more than a whole year to come up with the next one!

There are some other new things coming but there are only some little hints about what they are. There’s some news about new games and a hint that there will be something new with puffles this year. Maybe it will be a new color puffle!

Club Penguin Christmas Party for 2009

Awesomess! The Club Penguin XMas Party has begun in the game. The party is pretty huge this year. Almost all of the island is totally decorated with lots of holiday cheer and lights and presents. You can find lots of neat hidden secrets and cheats all around the island because almost all of the rooms are decorated for the party.

The first thing you should do is go over to the Ski Village to get the free Santa Hat. I’m kind of sad that it’s the very same thing they gave out for the 2008 Christmas Party, but if you weren’t a Club Penguin player back then, now’s your chance to have it. Go to the Ski Village and look for the hat in the big green box.

The other pretty cool thing is the sleigh ride in the Night Club. I’m not a member right now so I couldn’t do it but I watched some of the videos on Youtube and it looks like fun. You can get a Santa Suit if you finish the sleigh game.

Rockhopper tipping the Iceberg?

I just saw this picture posted on SecretPenguin’s site. I think it’s a fake but it’s pretty funny!

That would be totally awesome if Rockhopper, Sensei and everyone else all got together and finally tipped the iceberg. LOL!

Sensei’s Scavenger Hunt

OK pretty awesome surprise today. Club Penguin went and released a whole new event on a Monday called Sensei’s Scavenger Hunt. It’s just like the Easter Egg Hunt and the Halloween Candy hunt that they do every year. You follow clues and try to find eight items on the island. They are very easy to find if you read the clues, but if you have trouble, follow this guide.

The fire pin is kind of cool but I wish they gave away a free clothing item. Oh well.

Music Jam 2009 Rocks

The Music Jam 2009 Party started last weekend and it totally rocks. I thought the 2008 Music Jam Party was pretty good but this year’s is even better. If you are a member you can go backstage or up to the Night Club roof and have a chance to meet DJ Cadence or the Club Penguin Band.

There’s a free item for everyone at the Cove. It is a pair of green headphones.

Members can get a free boombox up in the nightclub. And if you go backstage at the Dock there’s a catalog of musical instruments you can buy.

Music Jam Starting Soon

The Club Penguin Music Jam party is going to start really soon. A lot of the island is under construction as the stages are being put together. Here is one small picture of the coffee stand area in the forest.

There will be lots of bands playing and DJ Cadence and the Club Penguin Band will both make appearances. It’s going to be really exciting!

Sensei Coming to Club Penguin this Weekend

Sensei will be making special appearances in Club Penguin this weekend. He will appear in the game like Rockhopper, Aunt Arctic, and Gary have done in the past and will be in the secret ninja hideout area. He will move from server to server. You will probably want to get a Club Penguin Sensei Tracker to find him. I’m really looking forward to meeting him. He will probably have a special background like Rockhopper and the rest do.

I also think a new pin is coming out this weekend. I bet it has something to do with Sensei.

Adventure Party

Hey everyone. The Adventure Party is here (thanks SecretPenguin for an awesome guide). Here are the highlights!

FREE ITEM: The free item is a green safari hat and you can find it in the Plaza in a box. Another free hat!

MEMBERS ONLY: Members can access a tree fort from the forest area. It’s pretty cool and there is a members-only free item. It’s a tropical bird that sits on your shoulder. It’s like the parrot that Rockhopper brought once.

SCAVENGER HUNT: There is a scavenger hunt to find eight things around the party. When you find all three you get an adventure party player card background. Yawn.

June Clothing catalog

Hey the June issue of Penguin Style is here. There are a lot of new items and some really old ones too. You can still get the medieval costumes and the Club Penguin awards clothes too but those are on clearance. There are some good clothing catalog cheats in this catalog too and lots of hidden items. Only one of the hidden items is new. It’s the canteen and you get it by clicking on the rock on the second page of the swimsuits.

Here is the page where you can get some of the adventure gear. Coolness!

Oh and the new pin is out too. It is in the coffee shop in the book room on the second floor. It is a safari hat pin. Only when I tried to pick it up I got an error saying that item is not available and CP crashed on me!

Rockhopper Getting Closer

Here he comes in a ship full of um, trees. I wonder what’s up with that? Anyway, Rockhopper will be arriving on the island very soon so get ready for a big Rockhopper party.
